On Tuesday, November 25th , The Association of Information Technology Professionals hosts its 7th Technology Showcase and luncheon featuring Dr. Pearl Kamer, The Chief Economist of the Long Island Association, Long Island’s largest business organization and President of PMKB Consulting Associates, LLC. She will be speaking on “The Ailing US Economy and How it will Affect Long Island’s Technology Sector”.
At the LIA, Dr. Kamer monitors local, regional and national economic trends. She is a member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon, the Economics Honor Society, and is past President of the NY Metropolitan Economic Association and the NY Regional Economists Society. Also, Kevin Hooper, VP TSG Commercial Business Segment, Hewlett Packard will be presenting “IT Opportunities Moving Forward”. Also featuring, Dan Finley, Senior Director Business Development, SAP America will be presenting “Growth Strategies in a Challenging Economy".
We will also be showcasing our local Technology Companies and their products and/or services at our Technology Showcase. Before and after our speaker, you will be able to network and visit the tables of our local vendors. We hope that you will support them since they support AITP and our local Long Island economy!
Tables are available on a “first-come, first-serve basis”. The cost of the tables ($95/members, $195/non-members) also includes the cost of one lunch. Our showcase will be open prior to and after the regular luncheon (11:00 – 12:30, and 2:00 – 3:00 pm).

About the AITP Long Island Chapter
The mission of the Long Island Chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) is to provide members with professional development, education, and exposure to technology trends and leadership in the Long Island business community. The chapter provides opportunities for networking with experienced peers in industry, academia, and government, and offers a student scholarship program.
