AITP Long Island Chapter Named “Association Outstanding Chapter”
Robust Educational Programs and Extensive Meeting Schedule Cited
Hicksville, N.Y. – January 17, 2008 – The Long Island Chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) today announced that the national AITP Awards Committee has named AITP Long Island the “Association Outstanding Chapter” and the “Region 13 Outstanding Chapter of the Year.”
Barbara Viola, president of the AITP Long Island Chapter, announced the award at the final chapter meeting of 2007. “This recognition of our chapter by the national AITP organization is a wonderful acknowledgement of the work of the Long Island Chapter as well as a tribute to the strength of the IT industry here on Long Island.”
Continuing its long tradition of facilitating quality educational programs for its membership, the Long Island Chapter today also announced its slate of seminars for 2008:
