2009 AITP-LI Scholarship Awards Announcement

The Board of the AITP-LI chapter takes pleasure in announcing that, once again this year, it will be awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors and currently enrolled college students who are active AITP members. Also eligible are graduating high school seniors and college students who are children or grandchildren of active AITP-LI members. 

Sponsoring AITP members must have been a member for at least one year at the time of application submittal. To qualify, applicants must be full time students at an accredited college or must be high school seniors already accepted by an accredited college. Previous AITP scholarship recipients are not eligible. An AITP member may sponsor only one student application annually. 

On the www.aitp-li.org web site, refer to the 2009 Scholarship Application Form and be sure to submit the three requested documents along with the form. Please note that item #3 applies to high school students only. The deadline date for submission is April 17, 2009. Mailing address information is indicated on the application. Notification of winning applications will be made in the late spring.
