Do you currently have a job or a career? This meeting will show you how to be an active participant in your own career development process and help you recognize that you are on a “Career Journey”.

  1. In the first part of our meeting, we are pleased to welcome Suseela Anna Kadiyala “CeCe” from Deloitte Consulting who will discuss what defines the concept of career and the different paths that are unique to a career versus a job. Tools and techniques for evaluating different steps along with leading research on career development in the IT world will be discussed.

Suseela Anna (CeCe) Kadiyala is part of Deloitte Consulting’s national Telecommunications and Merger & Acquisition practice. She has over fourteen years of experience leading, developing, and implementing enterprise-wide business transformation programs driven by M&A and divestiture within the Telco and Technology industries. She has partnered with her clients to deliver organizational change, talent, organization design, and workforce transition programs with particular focus in the IT function. CeCe is a part of Deloitte’s IT Organization and Talent group and has held leadership positions within Deloitte’s Talent Strategies practice.

  1. Then, we will learn about one of IT’s real growth areas – Healthcare IT (HIT) from two experts within the field who will discuss the opportunities and skills needed to succeed in HIT.

Ron Tomo – CIO, Nassau County Medical Center

John Choriatis, Director Ambulatory EHR Systems, NSLIJ Hospital

Is this a field that you should consider in the future? What skills do you need to succeed? How do you make the transition from IT to HIT?

Remember to RSVP so that we can have enough food for breakfast! Questions, please call 631-630-4640
